Dairy-Free Ranch

Looking for a healthy alternative to your favorite dressing? Look no further! Here is a simple vegan ranch recipe that you’ll need as your new staple condiment. It’s creamy, tangy, and dairy-free! This ranch is great as a topping in salads or over a spicy bowl of chili, you can also serve it as a dip for french fries or buffalo cauliflower wings!

  • 1 cup raw cashews, soaked
  • 1/2 – 3/4 cup of filtered water
  • 3 tsp of Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. dill
  • 1 tsp. dried chives
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. parsley
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • pinch of pepper

OR instead of the individual spices in bold

  1. Soak the cashews in cold water for at least 4 hours or overnight
  2. Drain the cashews and place them in a high speed blender along with the filtered water, ACV, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Blend for about 1 minute or until well combined – add the rest of the spices
  3. Blend for another 10 seconds until the mixture looks like ranch and the ingredients are combined
  4. Adjust flavor by adding more lemon juice or ACV for tanginess, or any of the spices for added flavor
  5. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving so the spices create more depth of flavor
