Buffalo Cauliflower Wings

This is my favorite go-to dinner recipe after a long day of homework when I don’t feel like spending an hour or two on cooking. These buffalo cauliflower wings are so crispy, spicy, flavorful and best of all – easy! Pair with Dairy-Free Ranch and celery for a traditional wing experience.

  • 1 large head of cauliflower – cut into bite sized pieces
  • 3/4 – 1 cup brown rice flour
  • 1/2 cup Cashew Milk
  • 1/2 cup sparkling water or filtered water (sparkling recommended for crispier wings)
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. sea salt
  • 1/2 cup -1 cups wing sauce of choice
  • 1-2 Tbsp. Earth Balance or coconut oil
  • Dairy-Free Ranch (optional)
  • celery (optional)
  1. preheat oven to 450 degrees
  2. wash cauliflower – cut into bite sized pieces – set aside
  3. whisk together flour, cashew milk, water, cumin, garlic powder, paprika, and salt – mix until smooth and thick enough that it will stick to cauliflower – add more flour to thicken or water to thin
  4. dip cauliflower into batter and shake off excess – place on baking sheet lined with parchment paper or grease with coconut oil – be sure to leave plenty of space between cauliflower for optional crispiness
  5. bake for 20-25 min or until golden brown
  6. while the wings are baking, combine the wing sauce and Earth Balance or coconut oil in saucepan over low-medium heat – heat until butter is melted and combined – remove from heat
  7. remove wings from oven and dip into wing sauce
  8. return wings to baking sheet and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes
  9. serve with Dairy-Free Ranch and celery for ultimate wing experience!
